About the Artist

My artistic journey began in primary school with clothing design. The relationship I built with form, surface, and material during those years gradually moved beyond a simple desire to “design,” leading me first to fashion design and then to painting. The discipline I gained from textiles still accompanies my practice today: layering, texture, rhythm, and sensitivity to surface form the invisible backbone of my work.

Born in Ankara in 1988, I graduated from Gazi University with a degree in Fashion and Textile Design (2009), and later earned a degree in Painting Education from its Faculty of Fine Arts.

Art is not only the production of an image; it is a way of thinking through the memory of materials and of structuring emotion. In my work, I build a narrative through traces, repetitions, and layers that accumulate on the surface. Each piece takes shape as a singular experience—carrying craftsmanship, the imprint of time, and details that unfold the closer you look.

My professional career began as an art teacher, but over time it evolved into a broader practice shaped by personal production and projects across different disciplines. Contemporary art—an area I studied as a minor and continue to explore—has become one of the key sources that nourishes and transforms my work. Through it, both my technical approach and my conceptual language are continually renewed.

Today, I share my original artworks and limited-edition prints with collectors. From the making process to packaging, every piece is prepared with care; my aim is not simply to send an artwork, but to create a lasting piece that forms a meaningful connection with the space it lives in.
